Happy birthday, dear Sister!

Remember, you only go through life once, or twice, or...nine times!

And each of our measley single lives has been improved because you've been there with your thoughtful questions and sharp responses.

Hugs,
Your brother Carl (and Pat)

My apologies for the gift that hasn't gotten to you yet--it's on backorder, apparently. Maybe for Christmas?

Happy Birfday El Gato! - easy on the chocolate cake! and the accompanying hot chocolate to wash it down. [:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]

Does frozen swamp rat want to swap places with frozen prairie chicken? (only minus three degrees now and will only get to 7 degrees tomorrow! - cowabunga!)

Heads-up MiniWyo ---just filled out an estimate on a bridge between Bitter Creek and Black Buttes on the transcon. Can we even get down in there this time of year on those oil and gasfield roads?

29?? *** that's young! I thought everyone here was older than me. This is just one more stereotypical view I hold for the RR - where everyone in this job has a gray beard, zebra striped uniforms, hat, and still occasionally talk about their grandpappies fighting in the first world war. I'll get over it.

Happy Birthday Mookie ... Here's to another 29 ... [bday][:)]

Thank you all! My eyes cry for happy. I took the day off yesterday to "putter". But this is where I am the happiest! Where else can you learn so much and have such a good time doing it.

To clear up any misconception - I am a whole lot smarter than my friend Sir Chicken. It is zero here and will not get better any time soon. But I am in a nice warm office.....

And I am not really 29. I am 16 for the young people, 45 for the mainstream and early retirement age for the old people on the forum! See railfanning really is for all ages!

There really is some chocolate cake in our lounge fridge - I am off to investigate! [:-,]

Gee, I missed the rush, but not the regards. I expect that we'll find Madam La Mook dozing over in the corner after she gets done with that chocolate cake.

Mookie,

Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah! (I sent some of those in the diner, too, but such a deserving lady surely earns another round of Huzzahs!).

[bday] Hope you have a great one!

For those in the know (trying not to reveal anything):

Punch Mookie's real age into a calculator, then turn the calculator upside down.
You may find the result amusing.
