It may sound "stupid" and it may be a "retarded" name but if i say "swoosh" you immediatly know which one i am speaking of. Heritage 3, H-4 which "new look" is this the 5th or 6th??[?]

That's what I have been saying, now that we agree on schemes, It's the "new BNSF scheme". Which I call the swoosh, and any other fun nickname that we railfans want to give it or any other railroad's paint scheme/logo. This is supposed to be fun, not a cut throat fight over a fricken name. We're supposed to do this and have fun making fun of other's favorites, it's what people do. So, don't take it personally when I call something what I feel "comfortable" with. Have fun ya'll.

I just can't wait till all those ex-ATSF units are all but gone. The only thing that will be left are the H1's H2's and the H3 BNSF wedgie's. Allan.

That might be a while, I miss the old ATSF, but I miss the old BN too, I'm just glad they didn't do like UP did. I'm still trying to figure out what I like better....UP patches the number and leaves the old logos, but BNSF patches the old logos and leaves the number (on BN units).

Come to think of it. I realy, realy like that Black over the Green Paint on those ES44DC's and ES44AC's. BNSF came up with a very choice there. Allan.

joegreen i didn't know standard cabs had the new logo w/ paint closer to H1-- is this the H4 people are always talking about?- i like anything w/ the "NEW IMAGE" - actually the logo is called the BNSF railway logo- the paint scheme is called H3, ect.
new (current) logo-
maybe we should just call it the "NEW IMAGE"

It will only be the "new image" untill the next new image comes along. We'll know what the name is in a few years as we will have named it through our common usage. It's name will be what most people call it. Time will tell good or bad.

Like UP's old and out dated Paint scheme. The UP's new image is.....Locomotives that never get washed. Allan.

Allan and dingoix are correct, the Swoosh has nothing to do with BNSF. The "Swoosh" is Nike's idiotic emblem on all of their products.

If you're going to call it anything, call it its correct name...or wedgie.

Hey, I like wedgie! (That was an obtuse sentence...I think I'll shut up now)
