Hey, no offense NSCSXRailfan, but you are asking a lot of pointless questions in the fact they have been asked before. Least and Favorite RR, what RR by your house, they all have been asked before. No offense but it gets really annoying.

I'm not really big on the Rock Island railroad, I don't dislike them or anything but I have never been a big fan of the Rock Island railroad, I didn't use to like the Santa Fe either but they've grown onto me quite a bit and they're now one of my top favorite railroad companies.

I have my likes and my dislikes, but remember we're gentlemen here. Be carefull saying who you do not like as a RR company, they might one day be the owner or part of your favorite RR company. My [2c] for what it is worth. PL

And this leads where?
Based on what, the paint scheme, the type of locomotive, or some real reason, like operating practices or on time delivery percent?

Last, why would you care what railroad any of us like or dis-like?

How does my affection for a particular road, or my aversion to any one make a difference to anything?
You plan on doing what with the information?

UP, they scare me, they've already got so many good roads, and CP looks like it might be next....it's a small railroad...

CN, for the last 4 years. Why can't the Canadian roads stay up north? They want to buy as many Wisconsin & Minnesota railroads as they can. I don't have a problem with CP, but CN is BAD! They took over the WC, FRV, SSAM, ACR, and DM&IR, all of my favorite roads.

Let see this is a real hard one. Based on recent events out here in the Northwest I would definitly say CN.
Yes we call it the Dinky. Why? Well cause it's dinky! Proud to be the official train geek of Princeton University!

Small railroad!!! They go farther east-west than any other "American" railroad!!! Besides, they'd have to get rid of a LOT of track in Milwaukeeland if they did anything ridiculous like that...

I don't get it , are you guys who complain about someone else topic the secret police of this forum? I'm not particularly interested in this topic either but if someone is why can't they ask the question (even if it was previously asked)?

If you don't want to read it then why even bother opening up the thread. The topic was clearly marked in the title. If nobody else wants to read it then the thread will quickly disappear into the archives.

Unless the forum moderator steps in people should be able ask whatever they want.
