Why did the editorial staff print the railfan being un-American relating to security and yet in the same issue print a full colour location map of 96 major classification yards in a magazine with a worldwide circulation??

Excellent point, and one I would like to see the TRAINS staff respond to.

there isnt a 1:1,000,000 chance that 'trains' will respond to your question in this forum.. this is a 'freebie' where everyone is invited to comment and respond to comments they read.. there is no way they are offering details here about articles they include in the magazine..

if you want a specific answer to a specific question about 'trains' content, send it to the editorial staff.. forums are 'streetcorner' discussions for the exchange of views.. no publication is going 'on the record' within a forum to explain its decisions of what goes into the magazine..

With all due respect I don't see where that map gives away any information that is not already widely known. Further, I agree with Cab Forward the editorial staff of Trains does not have to justify its publication decisions in a forum.
