I' m seeing a strange fascination with weaponry emerging.[:-,] I don't frequent the ammo & explosives forums much. Do you have any train trivia questions?[:)]

I'll go with British Bulldog, as I don't know weapons very well , BUT Union Station did not exist then. I believe it was the B&O Station.

Gee, for once my NRA membership is coming in handy. A little. The .38 "police" special is an invention of the 20th Century, and I think the .44 "Clint Eastwood" magnum is too. I don't know anything about a British Bulldog revolver, but I do think the Winchester rifle was in existence at that time. If it wasn't, then I wasted two hours on a Jimmy Stewart movie. So I'll guess Winchester.

Bulldog. I read a little about this not too long ago, and it had to be a weapon small enough to be concealed with a handkerchief covering the hand that held it.

Yup, read that it was the bulldog in the same page that let me answer your last one, although I wasn't meaning to cheat at the time!

I like to combine the two and take a few guns with me when I go railfanning. Watching trains and target shooting go well together. [;)]
Too bad you can't shoot guns in Cajon Pass anymore.[B)]

The weapon in question was a British Bulldog revolver. I remember reading that somewhere.

This was covered in an episode on The History Channel not too long ago. If I remember correctly they covered all the weapons used in presidential assassinations.
