Interesting "New Yorker" magazine article

The Oct 3 and 10 issues of New Yorker magazine contain a very interesting two part article. The main focus of the article are several Power River UP train rides the author went on and the railroaders he met. The article also touches on railroading in general and railfanism (in a respectful manner). For the "mainstream" press, very well done and interesting. Check them out.
