Great Shot Dave....Railroads showed class in approving such designs back so many years ago....they evidently considered pride and styling instead of just bean counters.

Bennett Levin bought the 3 Ex-Conrail E-8's and restored two of them to their original Pennsy numbering and appearance.....as seen in the pic...the third unit is an Ex- Erie unit which is currently in storage. They are definately Classy looking locomotives in my opinion.....

Dave, thank you for the picture, it's very clear and sharp, and I like the way the colors of the train contrast so well with the green and the colors of the town in the background.
