It was in Kansas City for the new exhibit at Union Station. This morning a little after 8:15 it left Union Station for the return trip home I believe.

As of this moment, 4PM, it is all by Moravia, IA, on it's way back north. They are planning to overnight it in Muscatine, and tomorrow hope to get it to Dubuque or maybe even River Junction if frieght traffic allows.
This was a spur of the moment movement, it was decided to take it to KC at the last minute.

I got to see it Friday evening at the KC Rails Expo. Even though the weather was rainy and soggy, the 261 brightend things up.
I think this shot is neat in representing transitions of trains from yesterday to today. (From right to left) The 261 and train, KCS "Southern Belle" and a UP stack train.
Take care,
Russell
