Posted by AlcoRS11Nut on Monday, August 15, 2005 8:59 PM
Does anyone know when MRL will take delivery of their SD70ACe's?

Thanks
I love the smell of ALCo smoke in the Morning. "Long live the 251!!!" I miss the GBW and my favorite uncle is Uncle Pete. Uncle Pete eats Space Noodles for breakfast.

Yup, they are just making their way through British Columbia, Canada now, where they will then be routed off the CP to BNSF then down and over to their new home RR.

Mark, I'm pretty sure they'll be headed west through Canada, not via Chicago. (blast!)

are they in MRL paint already? As a result of this, will MRL scrap any engines?

Yes, they are all white at the moment, I was a little disappointed, I was hoping to see them in their MRL colors, and this was probably my only real chance at seeing them, but they were all white, with nothing but their black numbers beloiw the windows.

Some pictures here -

They are currently sitting in the CP rail yard in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada.
