need Info on CSX's Etowah-Copperhill line

has anyone heard anything about CSX's 43 miles of track between Etowah Tennessee and Copperhill being turned into a shortline? i read an article from 2003 that said the line had been bought for purpose of being a shortline freight/tourist line. i was just curious if the line is up and running or if its still sitting unused.
