Last Passenger Trains to Wausau
Posted by eolafan on Wednesday, June 1, 2005 5:00 PM
My wife and I moved to Wausau in 1974, not long after the final Milwaukee Road Passenger trains stopped serving Wausau with the coming of Amtrak. Does anybody know a web site where I can find some photos of these last Milw. Road passenger trains to Wausau? Thanks, Jim[:D]

Actually, Milwaukee passenger service to Wausau was discontinued just prior to the beginning of Amtrak on October 7, 1970.

Photos of passenger service to Wausau are in: The Milwaukee Road, Volume 3: Wisconsin and Michigan, by William F. Stauss, published by Morningside books.
