A meet at Joliet Union Station full of older power!

Here's a meet at Joliet Union Station full of older power! The BNSF Dash 9 is the only GE engine. The local passes a stopped westbound M-IHBKCK with a sharp BN SD40-2 on the point. The local has a BNSF GP38-2 and a Santa Fe Bluebonnet GP39-2. This is the second time in two days I have seen this consist on the local. Here is the link to the picture: http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=107827

Here is the link to the picture of the local I saw again with the same power: http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=106905

Thanks for looking! [:)]

Nick,

Nice picture. I'm suprised your camera didn't break on that first shot because I was conductor on that train! One correction though. It was an MIHBGAL train that we had. I will say I saw you taking the pictures and you were all over the place. Get a good workout at the station eh?

Later,

Shrek

Thanks for the excellent pictures. Why not mail a copy, e-mail or whatnot, to the conductor?

Thank you very much everyone! [:)] Shrek, that is awesome how you were the conductor! That BN SD40-2 was the best train I saw all day. I was going pretty crazy with the pictures. If you're running a train through Joliet again, let me know, and I'll come out to the station. I'm usually there about two or three times a week. I live 15 minutes from the station. Hope to see you again soon! Take care. [:)]

P.S. How rediculous did I look running with the tri-pod?
