Refitting radial trucks.

Radial trucks have been widely reported to save fuel as well as wear on rail and wheels. They also increase traction. It would seem to me a good idea to refit SD60s and similar locomotives with them.Has any Railroad done this?

The only retrofit I am aware of so far in the lease / demo SD40-3 running around as EMD 2000. It is the one running around in maroon, red and silver with the revised front taper on the dynamics and the silver radial trucks.

The mounting systems are so different between the radial trucks and any other HTC trucks this has to be an expensive proposition.
