Fancy Gap/ Jacobs Ladder
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, April 29, 2005 11:43 AM
Anyone know if theres a railline near Jacobs ladder in the North east? I think i saw tracks along side Fancy Gap,(Vir./NC line). These are very steep/curvy roads used heavily by trucks in years past. There was another that was on I-80,
entering California,not so steep,but dam it was long,and dangerous.Also
What Line ran a train up the Shenandoah valley from around Natural bridge to Winchester>and beyond.?

No on the 1st part. But I do know that a Jacobs ladder is a essential piece of equipment on ocean going vessels. [:o)][:D][:p]
