Picture Help
Posted by venardos on Sunday, April 24, 2005 6:45 PM
How does one insert a photograph in the body of a post? (Not an HTML link to another website, but a photo incorporated in a message.)

Many thanks!

you can't post a pic on the forum directly.

Put it on your personal web site, or some other publicly accessible web site. Then put the link in your post, and wrap the link in the forum code as: {img}www.yoursite.com/yourfolder/yourpic.jpg{/img} but replace curly braces { } with square brackets [ ]. That will cause the pic to appear embedded in the post.

Photo taken Monday, February 1st, on board the Ringling Brothers Circus train about two hours out of Atlanta enroute to Cincinnati. When this was taken we were going about 58 MPH in light rain and occasional snow flurries.

Here's another Circus train photo, taken in the Sierra Nevadas this past September, enroute from Sacramento to Everett, WA.
