Well since the LIRR uses a "third" rail to propel its trains this had to be someone who had no fear since if you touch that rail you are fried human. [:p][:)][8D]

This is going to make it so much harder for railfans that do it right and play by the rules! I wonder what the judge will do to this one?

Slap on the wrist and sent to a facility for a mental evaluation?

Nope, not a "railfan", that definitely falls into the Rail NUT catagory and is a black eye to all other railfans[B)]

Just heard this on CBS news this morning. Evidently a guy who has been "obsessed with trains" all his life stole a train on Long Island somewhere. 20+ years ago the same person (a teenager at the time) stole a subway train. Hmmm..."Lunatic Fringe"[?][?][?]
