Last chance to receive a print of 'Mount Union Tra
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, August 19, 2002 10:30 PM
The deadline of August 31, 2002 is rapidly approaching. This is your last chance to receive one of these full-size, full color, authorized reproductions of this original Ted Rose watercolor, acknowledging each tax-deductible contribution of $50.00 or more.

The resources we obtain during this campaign will be used for the following purposes:

-To continue our rehabilitation of two historic museum buildings associated with the East Broad Top Railroad, located in Robertsdale, Pennsylvania.
-To continue our restoration of an East Broad Top Railroad combination passenger-baggage car to full operating condition-our reproduction trucks need wheels!
-To retire debt we assumed for the first phase of our rehabilitation of the old Robertsdale post office; this phase of work was completed several years ago.
-To underwrite costs of preliminary studies for potential additional restoration projects like the Saltillo station building and the water tank at Coles Station.
-To support development of our museum and its collections.

Additionally your check can be marked (or indicated on the return envelope) that your donation is to be used to "Bring 18 and 29 home". This will assist in the transportation and restoration of passenger-baggage combine no. 18 and baggage-mail car no. 29 which were recently acquired by FEBT.

For more information about the goals of this campaign, we invite you to visit our Internet web site at www.febt.org . All contributions (please make checks payable to Friends of the East Broad Top or FEBT) should be mailed to the following address:

Friends of the East Broad Top
Restoration Fund Treasurer
513 Shady Avenue, No. 12, Pittsburgh PA 15206

A new art print will be offered during the second year of our campaign, but this will your last chance to receive 'Mount Union Train'. We hope you will help us with our goal of the preservation and restoration of the East Broad Top Railroad National Historic Landmark.

Watch our website at www.febt.org for updates on these various projects and new future prints. Thank you for your support!
