Just woke up (4AM) to the sound of rain and the occasional thunder.  Small cell, but it's coming down pretty good.

Looks like more rain coming into the western part of NYS, so might see some rain again later this morning or so.  Cooling things off a bit, though, so it's not all bad.

The temperatures haven't been as oppressive as might have been expected, though summer is definitely here.

Hoping for good weather for the weekend - it's the amateur radio "field day," where we spend 24 hours trying to see how many contacts from around the country, and the world, a group of us can make.  It's always fun.  Check around your area - a local radio club may be doing the same, and they'll be glad to show you what they're up to.

Morning

Today starts summer.Had some rain which made it muggier.Around Toledo they had strong thunderstorms.Going to check on Brother this weekend.Will see what csx and Ns can send by.Time for work.
