I was station at Ft Carson Co in 1967 and would take a train to either Denver or La Junta Co.  Their was two stations one for DRGW (W side) and ATSF (E Side) I know the tracks have been taken out on the ATSF side but are both stations still their?

Yes.... The ATSF station is part of an office complex. The DRGW station and freight house complex is a restauraunt and offices.

The original ATSF/ C&S stone depot also survives, albeit in poor condition. The railroad corridor and small yard south of the ATSF station exists, but is in danger of being abandoned and sold off along Shooks Run for its real estate value. The C&S main track that ran down Cucharras Street between the DRGW and ATSF is now gone.

Mudchicken Nothing is worth taking the risk of losing a life over. Come home tonight in the same condition that you left home this morning in. Safety begins with ME.... cinscocom-west

MC, don't forget the Colorado Midland to Manitou, Buena Vista, Leadville and Glenwood Springs that was operated by Santa Fe (years 1891-1896).

Before your time but quite a history.
