BaltACDFuel pump in the tank or on the engine?
At $600 and change for the job, I'm guessing tank, and a quick search confirms that.
This one acted just like the one in my GMC - ran fine until I stopped, then it wouldn't start again. I've heard similar stories.
The GMC fuel pump replacement was over $800, and that was better than 12 years ago.
Still cheaper than a new vehicle payment.

My Durango got 360K miles and 15 years without any fuel pump issues. Pump in the tank supporting the EFI.

Ns was clear when I got off work.Still raining on and off.Couple observations from running errands.If you have some one hauling dirt for you make sure they have all the paperwork and a good trailer to haul it in.Someone made a big mess down the road.Next sorry you ran into the back of a van(just a bent back bumper) with a tanker truck.No damage to the cab.Just be glad you didn't make it to the clinton st viaduct.Going to go check on my brother.Tomorrow maybe Deshler.

Does it crank fast? I'm thinking 113K miles on the timing chain (or belt).

Stopped at the stop sign across from the house, it gallumphed a couple of times and quit. No idiot lights. Hoping for the best... Add

Actually, because I ignored a coolant leak, the engine got rebuilt around 120K.
I don't know what happened this time - ran at 73MPH all the way home (70 miles) and it never hesitated. Stopped at the stop sign across from the house, it gallumphed a couple of times and quit. No idiot lights. Hoping for the best...

Ns had a Carl special go eastbound after work.It had some flat cars with Deeres on them.They also sent a stack train west with Up power in the lead.It stopped in town for some reason.Ran errands but nothing on Csx.They did move the caboose back into the yard(whats left of it).Helped neighbor with a new water heater as well.Time for supper.

While attending a class at Fort Huachuca some years ago, many in the class carpooled to Tombstone one day after class.
The visit was interesting, but I wish I'd gotten pictures during the ride back. To our west was an absolutely stunning sunset.
To our east, the sky was black with storm clouds, and we could see lightning striking the mountainsides.
I've been in Tucson on business trips during the monsoon season and experienced first-hand how intense their storms can get. The lightning there is something else...

Seems one of the transmitters on the current system was putting out a whopping 1.5 watts on the transmitter. Should have been 100...
The new trunked radio system is up and running, so they've been pushing radios through, getting them programmed, so we can use them in areas the that old tower usually covers.
Haven't used mine yet, but I listened to it for a bit and it sounds good.
Tomorrow night I'll be returning the salutes for marching units at the opening parade for the oldest continuously operating county fair in the country.

Hamfest went well today. They had a good turnout.
I didn't really buy much that was radio related, but it's all useful.
Took the drone with me. On my first flight I got plenty of great shots and video, only to discover that not one of them got saved. Turns out I needed to format the micro-SD card. So, I did, then flew again and got more good pictures and video.
Turns out the fellow who usually organizes the event is in the hospital. The club was most grateful when I gave them a thumb drive with all of the images and video I took, as they could now share them with said fellow.
Getting better with the drone. Flying it is the easy part. it's the images and video that have the leaning curve.
It is pretty amazing seeing my house and environs from 200 feet up.
