Productive Day on the UPRR Glidden Subdivision!
Posted by TexasSpecial91 on Thursday, June 18, 2020 9:30 AM

I was out chasing trains along the UPRR Glidden Subdivision between Rosenberg, Texas and Flatonia, Texas on my way home from Houston, Texas. I was returning home after winning a bid to return to the Bloomington, Texas trainman's extraboard. I was coming from the Settegast Yard (Houston, Texas) extra switchman's board.

It was a good day. I was happy to not only be returning home, and getting back on a road (through freight) trainman's board, but also that there was a fair amount of traffic on the Glidden Sub. Not anywhere what it once was before PSR, but great by current, post PSR standards.
