When looking from a recent aerial view of the Tunnel City area, I notice that a large sand mining/processing operation has been developed near the exMilwaukee Road tunnel. What do you think are the chances that Canadian Pacific would team up with the mine operator to daylight the rail line as a natural course of mining, leaving behind a new, gently-curved, tunnel-free ROW through the topography?
