Newswire help?
Posted by ruderunner on Saturday, May 19, 2018 6:13 PM

So for about a month now I haven't been able to read comments on newswire articles. This is happening with my tablet, I haven't had a chance to try it with my laptop or desktop yet.

I was thinking my subscription expired but it seems to be current.  I tried logging out and back in with no change.

The messages I get are a pink highlighted aeea and a note that I'm unable to access the comments.  Usually accompanied by a showing of zero comments on the story, but the next day it may show that others have commented (the comment count by the title)

I'll try the PC tomorrow but any ideas?

If you're having the same problem with your laptop and desktop I'd contact the Kalmbach help desk.  As long as your subscription's good you should see the comments on at least your regular computers and should be able to comment yourself.  Your problem may be with the tablet.

Something similar happened to me.  I subscribed to "Classic Toy Trains" but wan't able to access the "Subscriber Only" parts of the website.  I sent a message to Kalmbach, 24 hours later it was fixed.

thats what I'm thinking, hence tomorrow I'll try the PC.

I had a similar situation with classic trains site, I couldn't get the forums to come up on the tablet. But I did one time and saved the forums as a favorite place vs going to the home page. Works fine since.

I#m not a Trains subscriber only registered but I can read the comments to Newswire news on my laptop. I can't read and comment the news.
