Duncan does like his green grass to play in.)

Mail him to me - he can have the whole front yard, which is always green!  I will tell the landlord Duncan is rolling and fertilizing the lawn....

(I'm kinda jealous here - He mows & bales a swamp while I'm throwing $$$$ in mega-water bills trying to keep the grass here alive and some other color than brown. Duncan does like his green grass to play in.)

Joe, you keep talking about chores. Do you feed the stock, milk the cows, bring wood and coal in, and fill the kerosene tanks? Oh yes, and slop the hogs?Smile

I got myself officially PTC qualified this week.  Now only if we had PTC lines to run. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Has NS implemented PTC on any subdivisions?  When I retired CSX had it in effect on 28 subdivisions - both signalled, with CTC and without as well as Dark Track Warrant territory.  Needless to say since I have been retired I have lost track of what, if any, additional territories have had PTC implemented.

Any indications of when that may happen? If the wait is too long do you have to get requalified?

Spent the day at the NYS Fire Chiefs Association Expo.  Took in one class, got some good information, and spent some money - mostly on good stuff (like t-shirts for the local grandkids).

Going back tomorrow.

For tonight - I've got to see if I can get a new digital radio programmed up and on the air.

My Granddaughter will be 5 tomorrow - where does the time go?

That's a very good question, my granddaughter turned 16 last month, and her brother turns 13 on Sunday.  It doesn't seem like that long ago when I took the day off from work when they were born.
The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul

Joe - You're going to have to change your signature - "Matt wants the keys to the car!"

I have a grandson turning nine tomorrow.  We'll have to give him a call, now that he lives too far away to just take out for lunch.

A belated happy birthday to MC...yes, you're allowed to remain younger than I.  And as for Matt...all I can do is shake my head and say "I remember him when..."

Balt, you're absolutely right!

Just as long as I'm not stationary and six feet deep in that earth.

Go back to flying three feet off the ground, racking up all those frequent driver miles, tomorrow. New mess to unravel and clean up.

Keep us posted.

I know I am older than MC. He was just a young, eager engineer when we met and I was the one he 'occasionly' listened to.

Mookie,

If MC is still working I think I'm older than he is. I turned 39 [ala Jack Benny] last week. Wink

The former Romulus army depot is rife with white deer.  Some say it's because nukes were stored there.  Others say it's from inbreeding in an enclosed area.
