Iron Triangle Park

I Just visited the new Iron Triangle rail watching park in Fostoria Ohio. They did a nice  job. The only problem was finding the automobile entrance (at the West end between the two railroads).

What are good (and bad times) of the day for  train frequency?

As an Ohio native, I can tell you the best time to be in Fostoria for trains is between 0001 and 2359. Seriously, don't sweat it and enjoy your visit. Any location will have slow periods, but with more than 100 trains per day, they won't be very frequent, or very long, in Fostoria.

For an updated Fostoria train-watching guide, see the October 2013 issue of Trains Magazine.

Thanks, I had forgotten which issue it was in.  When I was there last week between 1230 and 1430 I only saw 3 trains. When I was there last year, before the park, there were trains almost constantly. I think that was later in the afternoon.
