Sicamous to Vernon

I was talking to someone here in Nelson that trains were no longer running between Sicamous and Vernon on the old Canadian Pacific rail line. Is this true and what is the status of that rail line? I also heard that there were only 2 customers along that line. Was it always that way or did other businesses pull up stakes over the years?
