This first was a shot in Greeley, Colorado at the end of July when 3985 was headed from Cheyenne to Denver.

The second shot was a train of autoracks that were headed north out of Boulder in July.

...Enjoyed all the above posts of photos...especially the closeup of 3985. I'm just a bit overwhelmed that we still have an engine of that size in running condition this far away from the steam era. Liked the bridge pic's in the east as well, being a Pennsylvania native. Good thread. Caboose shots great too.

how can i put a photo on this forum

When you go to post a reply, click the button under format that shows the arrow pointing to the mountains button to insert an image and then put in the web link for the picture. It will show up with [ img][/img] (without the space between the bracket and the first i like I have in the example) and then you put the link in between the two. Pretty simple once you find it, I couldn't figure it out at first either [;)]

...Clear as mud. Bergie......web master.....person in charge of maintaing this web site forum: Why does the process have to be something messy to install a photo on this forum. I realize computer wiz folks have a breeze to sit down and just do it...but many folks {including me}, seem to have no understanding how to present a photo with their comments...Can the process be amended....?

Don't worry, it seems like I get responses in other posts only 25% of the time. [:)]
