I heard some time ago that passenger rail service between North Vancouver and Prince George was discontinued. What were the reason(s) behind the decision? Was Canadian National's purchase of B.C. Rail a factor?
I took this trip back in 1989, it was quite the trip. Beautiful scenery especially around Howe Sound.
