I've seen those shackle cars. A lot of them have now been lettered "Bi-Max", and you just know that "Bi" has to mean "biological"! This goes back to when Reagan was in the Big House and Mrs. Dole was DOT head. It was part of the Babble of Fear the Righe Wing was spreading agains passenger rail service in general (why if we have a good passenger train serive, the enemy can invade us and use it to get around) and Beach Grove facility could be used by the invading Russians to build tanks or turn into a point of incarcirating us lilly livered, white, liberal "Mericans. Yeah, it is hard to believe that they wanted us to believe that vomit but it helped build more highways and keep Amtrak from being what it could have been.

Actually, Henry, I used to work with a guy who thought it was great fun to start a rumor then sit back and see where it went. The anonymous Internet is full of people like that. It is also full of fools who believe it if it supports their own preconceived ideas and they forward those things to everyone in their address book.

Actually, it's not Beech Grove. I think it's Penn Station in New York. Have you been there this summer? I'm sure the temperatures inside Penn Station are part of a plan to put travelers to death, or at least make them vow to never enter the place again.

I remember petitnj popping up every now and then over the years (he joined in 2001), so don't think he'd be either FM dave or Michael S. Neither LMD or rluke strike me as being Michael, and a bit of a stretch to be dave. Also note a lot of tongue in cheek responses from the regulars...

I noticed, both the tongue in cheek replies, which are pretty funny, and the join date of the folks I named...petitnj has been doing this crud for a long time, but the small number of post over the long period of time make me think of the possibility of a "secondary" persona created to argue a point or start a flame war, with the primary persona playing off the secondary, as was the case once with Dave...still, if it walks like a troll, quacks like a troll.....

On one music forum I'm on there were a few 'characters' who would pepper their posts with all manner of weird youtube things about various places being turned into concentration camps...some places surprised the H... out of me

There are "FEMA concentration camps" all over the country, if you believe those folks. Two are supposedly at a nearby military installation, but although there are plenty of fences, and though I've covered most of the installation, I've never seen anything that looked like a concentration camp.
A few years ago, while poking around that whole conspiracy theory, I happened on a fresh YouTube submission which centered on a single head searchlight signal and the videographer's comments, which included the hypothesis that the signal was to direct trains (which we are all so familiar with) to a concentration camp. I think satellites were mentioned, as well. Since he never gave a location, viewers never had an opportunity to guess which camp.
After a few disparaging comments by viewers (myself included) the video was deleted...
