Crossrails in History
Posted by Train Guy 3 on Thursday, May 31, 2012 10:33 PM

Just my thought of the day.... 30 years ago today would mark the last time the Norfolk & Western Railway and the Southern Railway would be opperated as separate companies ( atleast under a seperate banners anyway) and 13 years ago today would mark Conrail's last day of independent opperations before being turned over to Norfolk Southern and CSX. Can't believe its really been that long since I saw big blue engines roaming over the system. Man how things change fast in the business world.

Happy 30th Birthday Norfolk Southern
