The placard on #59 says after restoration,

     Planned Use:  Special excursions between downtown Colorado Springs and Manitou

I remember some track west of town along US 24 in the early 90s, but Google Earth shows it's now a bicycle trail.  What are they talking about?

Colorado Springs is/was looking at reviving Trolley Service using the old CS&I Name as well as some of these historic cars.  Service would include a line out to Manitou Springs.  I don't know if they have gotten beyond a feasibility study completed in June 2010 though...
