Literally, a 'cool' shot.  You've got more guts than I do in getting out in THAT kind of inclement weather, in THAT area anyway!  The photo lacks, though, the location's most prominent identifying feature, the other leg of the 'wye.'  Matter of fact, while I thought the view was Keddie Wye, I needed the caption to confirm it.  Out of curiosity, Adam, was the canyon river flowing or was it frozen solid?  Burrrrrr ...

I assume with the new U.S. border restictions in place today that these tanks are heading up to the border between U.S. and Canada, that seems to be the theme.

Nah - caption says they're headed to California for storage.

Besides, I've seen lots of trains here loaded with equipment headed for Louisiana, ahead of units headed there for training.

Nice shot.

Nice shot.  I have to agree with Larry on that!

Looking at the picture, I think the load is Stryker LAV's, and some varients of the Basic Strykers.

The NTC is at Ft. Irwin Ca.  One of the main training facilities for mechanized war games.  My 2 Cents
