Does Union Pacific refer to those responsible for moving locomotives around the locomotive servicing facility as "hostlers" like other railroads do?
I would assume so yes. Hostler is a universal term.

The Missabe Road: Safety First
Many places within the limits of the servicing facility, the power is moved around by mechanical dept. employees who are qualified and licensed to do this. I haven't heard these employees referred to as hostlers. Possibly at some of the biggest facilities they may have actual hostlers who only move power within the facility. IIRC, hostlers who only can move power inside the servicing area are called "inside hostlers."
"Outside hostlers" can take power to/from the servicing area to other places in the terminal such as arrival/departure tracks etc. One terminal on my territory has hostlers like this. Another terminal dosen't. The one that doesn't, power to trains being put together is moved by either a yard crew or the road crew themselves.
Usually power on terminating trains at both of the terminals I mentioned is taken to the servicing facility by the inbound road crew, if they have time to do it.
