-- Governor Christie cancelling ARC to save money, then not wanting to pay back the $271M in federal money that we already spent, and then moving the money was going to spend on the project towards roads.

-- Caterpillar buying EMD

-- Amtrak purchasing new pax cars and electrics

 Wink   Quentin;  could this be the revival of  Muncie / Borg Warner Gear ??  However it is a good thing to raise up from the dust .

Sorry Jim, just now saw your post.

The Progress Rail business is going into the mammoth plant formerly used by ABB.  A very appropriate facility.  They manufactured very large electric transformers....and it already has railroad tracks into the building and I've read, 6 ft. thick concrete floors.

Jim, sorry...just now saw your post.

Progress Rail will be going into the former massive plant of ABB.

It is a perfect fit for such a project.  It is just a few miles from the BWA plant, which at this time {as far as I know}, is only being used by some businesses for storage.

But I understand it too is on the market for a business proposition.

I'm just about 8 minutes from the former BWA plant.
