I didn't see the article - did the crew screw up?
It's been fun. But it isn't much fun anymore. Signing off for now.
The opinions expressed here represent my own and not those of my employer, any other railroad, company, or person.t fun any

No screw-ups at all by the crew, either mentioned by Mr. Frailey or that I could discern.
I don't understand why the names of the crew is an issue or objectionable - what should they be called instead, "Engineer A" and "Conductor B" ?

I don't think it is necessary to name the crew, but Trains Magazine articles and stories about all aspects of the railroading business usually include the names of people involved.

I guess I really don't understand what the problem is. Mr. Frailey, I'm sure, had all the permission from Norfolk Southern and proper forms signed to be there, so it isn't like the crew was sneaking him aboard.
If he would ever ride with me, he could certainly use my name, I really and truly don't understand what your concern is. Had the crew screwed up, he undoubtedly would have left that part out.
