A lot of innocent folks just going on their way died.

I state the obvious when I say killing innocent people like this is just plain sickening.

India is going to have to secure its rail lines.  They have no other real choice. How they do that will be interesting to see.

The last paragraph of the news article indicates the railroad already had a slow order out for that area to make the engineer's ability to scan the track for problems more effective.  While I agree that the authorities are going to have to try to improve the situation, I think in practice that is going to be very difficult to achieve, and I suspect Greyhounds agrees.
