As a follow-up to my earlier post regarding this Friday's presentation by BNSF on Flange-Bearing Frogs -
These seminars are generally bi-weekly (= at 2-week intervals) during the University's semesters. The archives for the 6 already done during the current Spring 2010 semester are at: http://ict.illinois.edu/railroad/CEE/seminar.asp
The archives for the previous ones - from Spring 2005 to Fall 2009 - are at: http://ict.illinois.edu/railroad/CEE/pastseminar.asp
The topics are not at all limited to the technical aspects of railroad engineering. For example, there's one from just over a month ago on CSXT Network Planning: The View in 2010 at: http://ict.illinois.edu/railroad/CEE/pdf/PPT's/Spring10/Potter.Steve.CSX.pdf There's also one from 10-09-2009 on Bringing State-of-the-Art High Speed Rail to Illinois, at: http://ict.illinois.edu/railroad/CEE/pdf/PPT's/fall09/Walbrun_10-9-09a.pdf
and so on - you should be able to find something of interest to you here.
Generally the earlier ones have little or nothing on-line, but as they become more recent there are more PowerPoint presentations and/ or PDF files, etc. that can be downloaded.
There are also other interesting resources at the links along the left side of these pages.
I hope you find this information useful and enjoyable.

Paul,
Is there any charge for this?
George
George -
Nope - it's all ''No Charge'' so far as I know or experienced when I looked at the CSX Network one earlier today - other than your usual personal costs for your Internet Service Provider access, computer, paper and ink/ toner to print anything on, etc.
