I was wondering, what was your favorite railroad paint scheme, I liked the Chessie and Great Northern. Thanks for your input. [:D]

CN "wet noodle" is okay. I also like the CN one with the North American map.

Any Rock Island paint job!!!! Remeber there were like a dozen of them in less than 30 years!!! That and the warbonnet on the GP60m's. Didnt look right on the GE's but man that was a handsome looking locomotive with a GP60b behind it. Always thought that the Milwakee Road's hiawatha piant job was cool too. LONG LIVE THE ROCK!!!!!!!!!(in my basement[:)]

I like the North Shore too, but my favorite is the Northern Pacific paint scheme. I even painted up a Trainline HO GP9m in yellow-n-black. Sharp! I was planning to do a C40-8 in that scheme too, but I'm taking a hiatus on the model railroading... [:(]

BN's exec scheme on SD70MAC's (dont care for other BN schemes much at all except the tiger stripes) and the Batten Kill RR of NY.
And Southern's always looked so classy.
Oh, and KCS in white, with those crazeee handrails!

Lets hear it for the cat! Chessie System!

Second place: Warbonnets (not early stuff like PAs, I'm talking GP60Ms and B40-8Ws)

Third place: Conrail Blue; just regular non-SD80MAC scheme, or "Quality" scheme.

ICG orange & gray has top spot in my heart. But without a doubt Santa Fe warbonnet is best all time & will never be topped.

2 SP Bloody Nose
