Conrail 1999 West Slope video....
Posted by dwil89 on Sunday, February 14, 2010 7:47 AM

Back in April 1999, just 6 weeks or so before NS and CSX took over operations of the Conrail system, I shot this video...4 Conrail engines...two on each end (three GP38-2's and an SD40-2 total) haul a loaded coal drag onto the mainline at Portage Pennsylvania after loading at the Sonman Tipple to take it West toward South Fork.....

Portage is located 10 miles West of Gallitzin and 7 miles West of Cresson
