Overall it was a busy day here. Nothing special came through, but traffic was high on the NS, not really CSX.

Does anybody know why the traffic was kind of slow on the CSX, because there was basically only 1 to 2 trains an hour through here on the CSX Main? Also there was a trackcrew working on Track 1 of the CSX Main, so maybe that might be it, but if anybody has something else they know or want to share, please put it down.

There is a major curfew west of Willard to cut in the new control points around North Baltimore, OH.

With traffic down the trend in the past few month's on CSX in northern Ohio is to run early AM, it then slows down in the late AM and PM, then picks up again in the evening (evenings are great).  As I mentioned in response to your earlier posts CSX is doing massive track work on the Big 4 and on the Short Line (tunnel), the slow down periods allow this work to continue and is a more convienent schedule for traffic and track work.  Once tracks are back to normal I am sure traffic patterns will again change.

Also take into account the geographical location of Willard and Collinwood as related to Berea.

I too was at Berea yesterday and seen the trains you listed, foreign power has been slim of late, too many units stored in a temporary retirement.  A UP westbound on the NS did arrive early afternoon, but that was it.
