How fast will the 4449 go in Michigan?

I seem to recall that the Amtrak route in Michigan is rated at 110 mph.  I am not certain of that, but I seem to remember reading it somewhere.  Is there any chance they will open the 4449 up on this route?  That would be really cool.

Do they know what time she is leaving Chicago yet?

Leaving at 0800 CT (0900 your time).

Nothing goes 110 on the Amtrak line yet (they're slowly working up to it). I think they're good for 95 mph now, between Niles and Kalamazoo only. I'm not sure how fast the 4449 can run, but I suspect that it will be able to make 70 or better once it gets into Michigan.
