Wed morning - coffee on - still no air here at work. It isn't unbearable - just very sticky.

1/2 day again - we do more time off than we do work! 1/2 day again on Friday. No wonder I am always so behind. I don't appreciate it, since I don't play golf!

Breakfast....ugh. I am out of ideas. However, you can submit your most unusual breakfast - mine would be cold pizza. Yum. However, I have served a chocolate chip waffle with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup. That was a toughie. Kept wanting to .....well, let's just say it made me a little queasy. And could never get past a peanut butter and banana omelette.

Excuse me - think I need to go down the hall...

Mookie

PS - If you see Mudchicken coming with asparagus, lock both doors! [xx(]

That would be a semi-yes.

Have got to go out later this morning,to see if we have any damage.

I know other people in certain areas are familiar with this, but WE are
NOT. Some of the newcasters(and other people) have compaired
this last storm we had tonight, with the 1974 Tornado(in respect to damage)
We had a couple of power interuptions, but otherwise not too bad.
The last Iheard on TV,in certain parts of the county, about 80,000 people
were without power. And they did say, some of them might not get it for about
a week,due to all the trees,lines,etcdown.[:(]

Hey Jay! Yes! [(-D] hee hee I am already in your tomorrow! [:-,] It's Wednesday down under, and I'm just thinking about what to have for lunch! Yum! [C=:-)][dinner]

Before you have a yarn with the President, I think it's something to do with that mischevous little line that runs basically north south on the Pacific Ocean with the grand title of "International Date Line". And we are on the tomorrow side! [:-,] hee hee [(-D]

Cherokee Woman - no storms please - just rain...[:p] [:)] thanks very much! Anytime will do, preferably sooner...[;)] We get some real beauties of storms in our summer too.

Kozzie,

If you want rain, come to Louisville, KY. We're under a severe t-storm watch until 1 a.m.,
and have already been under severe t-storm warnings since about 8. Even had to go
outside and pick up our 95 gal. garbage can from the middle of the front yard[:0]

Dave

Eastern Standard Time = GMT -5 (EDT -4)
Central Standard = GMT -6
Mountain Standard = GMT -7
Pacific Standard = GMT - 8
I think Hawaii is GMT -10 or 11.

You think resetting all your clocks is a pain - try remembering whether you have to add 4 hours or 5 when you have to work in GMT...

(Hawaii is that far behind Austrlian Eastern Standard time that most folk here would just ADD about 5 hours (I think), then take off one whole day! [:0] [:0])

Had a co-worker go camping in the Nebraska sandhills. She said they had Sandhills bacon (the bacon got dropped on the ground after being cooked, so they washed it and tried to eat it - still too sandy: she grabbed butter flavored Crisco for the toast, and thought she had instant coffee, but had regular instead. Microwaved the water and put in a rounded tsp. Grounds woke her up - a lot! My advice would be don't go camping with her, unless you really like adventure!

That's easy......The Rules of Engagement clearly give the individual or unit the inherent right to self defense, using reactive force, appropriate and in reasonable proportion to the aggressor to achieve a mission kill or force a termination of the attack, up to and including destruction of the attacking force.

I would presume based on that, lurks, trolls and snipes...all of which are considered hostile, a pre-emptive shot is appropriate. As long as you don't hunt them for sport out of season....

Can I lope? Nawwww, I just walk fast. [:D]

The coffee is good this morning. Having a little "cake" to go with it too. Got the fire out, opened the windows and let all the smoke out. Good thing the smoke detector batteries needing replacing, I just would not be able to hand all that noise this morning. [;)] [:D] Well got lots to do this morning, so off I go.
