Let's see, train shirts...

How about; "Got steam?"

A shirt that says; "What's your type?" and lists the Whyte classification system.

Or how about "HO scale modelers do it 1:87 times a day."[;)]

OH BOY! First post on page 410, what do I win?[:p]

I've got a shirt that reads "Still plays with trains". My sister gave it to me when I worked for the railroad. I also used to have a shirt that read "Real men don't need instructions".

I'll take a few gallons of water or Gatorade for work today, forecast high of 92 around here, and humid. Gonna be hot in the plant today. I might sneak in about 3am for dinner tonite, we'll see.

Have a good day everyone, I'll try to.

I have a T-Shirt I wear for sailing that reads (upside down on the back) "If you can read this, pull me back in the boat."

Of course I sail alone, so a lot of good that does me...

As long as we're reading T-shirts, I saw one in the mall last week (that was my visit to a mall for 2005), worn by a young guy:

"PARENTS FOR SALE...Buy one, get one free."

My favorite was a shirt in camoflage print, on which was emblazoned:

"HA! Now you can't see me!"

Already craving the cold drinks today--hot and sticky outside. Yesterday was so steamy that I couldn't see the Chicago skyline from work, in spite of the fact that it was a clear day (it's about 14 miles from Tower A to Tower S[ears]). There's a slight chance of rain tonight.

Tomorrow night we're going down to the Lake for a concert in Grant Park. That should be cool--in more ways than one!

I've already had breakfast, (3 bowls of Marshmellow Mateys) so Ill take some bacon and orange juice and I'll be fine.

Morning All [:)]

I liked working second shift. No big bosses around and pretty relaxed. [8D]

Now, the bad news, Duchess is sick , now she is not throwing up, it is the other end. [B)] [V] [:(]

Grrrrr, its THAT time of the year again, time to renew the truck's license plate. [:(] I hate standing in line while those "people" take their time doing everything BUT their job. [:(!]

Can anyone send me some rain, it seems like everyone but me gets rain the last month. I have water my lawn just to keep part of it from dying.

I tried to find the Stupid Question Thread last night after work. That was one thread which was always interesting and the perfect place to ask a quesion. I think it would do the forum good to bring it back.

Well I have things to do this morning before work so off I go. [;)]

Everyone take care.

For what? A coronary? You probably eat like a firefighter - wind, water and then run 10 miles! No donuts for youse guys!

With the health history on my father's side of the family I could eat all of the 'right' things and still have a cholesterol count out in the stratosphere somewhere. Might as well enjoy myself. Besides, I make every effort to eat in moderation - just one helping of each... And my mother's side is known for its longevity.

Boy, I sure could go for a tall glass of that lemonade right now. I've been busy re-landscaping the front lawn of our house, including planting a clump of birch trees that are already 12 feet tall. Had to dig a pretty deep hole for them!

I am ready for a late night snack. Possibly of intrest, when in "The Cities" (Minneapolis/St.Paul for those people not in Minnesota) we were going to a Twins baseball game, when I saw BNSF,BN,SF,and EMD units heading light for Northtown. The BN,SF, and BNSF were of special intrest.

Carl, and Coburn35, you can have A-1 with your meatloaf: but I do have to tell
you that I add a can (usually the juice, also) of Red Gold diced tomatoes Italian
to my meatloaf. That way, even with an egg or two, the meatloaf isn't dry.

And yeah, mudchicken, where is CopCarSS?!?!?! Have been wondering
about him, since I heard on the news Friday or Saturday, about a hiker finding
the deceased deputy sheriff in/around Denver. Wondering if he was the hiker.

Supper tonight: open-faced roast beef sandwiches w/mashed taters & gravy.

Jhh, so glad to see you here for breakfast this morning: will have your
breakfast ready for you each morning, Sir!

CW: That deceased park ranger was not CopCar. He's probably off at Metro State fighting with that school's class registration process which is a mess.

Mud

MC, just wondered if CopCar might have been the hiker who found the
park ranger.

Well did I have an interesting day today. First I drove my boss' car all the way from Conshohocken,PA over to Pensawaken (spelling) N.J. I saw about 10 trains today most of them were mainfest. Most of these trains I saw while I was on the job in my boss' car. I actually was real suprised that my boss did let me drive his vehicle all the way down there. I ran into several traffic jams going into Philly on of course the road that gets backed up 24/7 I76 aka the Schuykill (spelling) expressway.
All in all I got out of 3hours of doing work in a hot shop today in the evening. That was a nice change.

No, my team didn't win our softball games yesterday. Actually we only won one game.
Ohter than that noting really happened.

Carl thanks for clearing up that signal issue I had yesterday with the "Limited Approach". Ya know what I think CORA and any other rule book out there should defind what Limited and Medium speed actually is.

CW I think I'm ready for that beef and taters and lemonade now!!!
