Scary thing is, I've actually done something similar. My dad and I were on a parts run when we happened to meet our seed dealer who happpened to have our order in the back of his truck. We loaded 4000 pounds of seed into a half ton pickup, truck was literally riding on the bumpstops on the frame! That was an interesting ride home!

Then again, I've also seen what happenes when you dump the clutch on a loaded semi one too many times. (pretzels anyone??)

I also know that about 60mph is about what it takes to get a 3/4 ton diesel pickup airborne off of a certain humped crossing in southeast Wisconsin, although next time I'm installing 6-point harnesses!![}:)][}:)]

SNOW!!! IThe first snow fall of the year has happened here in the great state of Penn's Woods. I would say there is about an inch of snow on the ground right now. We are suposed to get some more snow tomorrow night. I'll just have to see if this snow is going to be "cheap ol' snow" or the good stuff, that sticks like crazy to anything. Oh I want to thank everyone who chiped in to send some of the white stuff to Pennsylvania.

GOOD afternoon everyone we also got about 6inches here so far this season we are at about 12 inches and I dont think it will be melting soon but aleast our plows where though here already in fact I think I saw the same plow come though about 4or5 times in the hour I was outside shoveling but anywho is there any hot coco that I can come and get.[:D][:D]

Good morning, we got four more inches of the white stuff yesterday afternoon. The snow blower has almost gone through its first tank of gas. Looks like we've got around 8 - 10 inches on the ground now... we'll keep trying to send it your way, Sarah! Hope we don't lose it before Christmas, though- my son and his girlfriend are flying up from LA, and she's never experienced playing in the snow! My son said she went up to Idaho one Christmas, but it was a year in which they didn't have any up there- hard to believe.

....Muncie at a bit before 7....Out to get the paper and find a little less than 1/2" of granulated like snow...and not very cold, 28 degrees...and no wind. Believe that's about it for this weather system. I believe south of us there was a mix of ice and sleet first.....

Two lbs ground round, a can of Rotel diced tomatoes and chilies, a pod of garlic, one onion sliced thin, four tablespoons of real butter, pasta of your choice.
Pre cook the pasta, drain and rinse(or not, depends on how thick you like it)

Brown the meat, drain.

In a large lidded pot, or cast iron skillet(I use a big dutch oven/caldron) braze the onion and crushed real garlic in butter till the onions go clear, (leave the butter in there )and add the meat, Rotel(drained) along with two cups milk, one cup water, several handfulls of you favorite cheese, grated, ( I like a mexican mix), throw in some pre cooked egg noodles or tube pasta, cover and simmer, when the chese melts, stir well and serve real hot with a skillet of cornbread on the side....
Salt and pepper to taste.
For those who like a real "hot" meal, drain only about half the juice from the Rotel.
You can add other spices to you own taste.

Cheap, fast, good.

HI everyone how are you all doin tonight fine and dandy. I hope and I'm fine over here to but the weather is not all that great tonight we are getting about 6 inches of snow and it's not looking to good for the roads ethier so I think it will be a good night to stay inside and catch up on the fourms since. I have not really been able to do so in the last couple of nights and that's because I have been getting home at 7:30 every night for the past couple of weeks but anywho hope everyone has a good night and. Yes Joe, chilli does sound very good for tonight: unfortunately, here at home, it's
not chilli night. Will have to go to the store tomorrow, and see about getting all
