Reminds me of a grade crossing in Davidson County, TN, just east of the Nashville/Davidson County line.  The road 'humped' at the tracks, then dropped off in a way that was guaranteed to high-center a flatbed trailer with a deep fishbelly frame.

Fortunately, there was a farm supply store (I think it was, anyway) directly across the highway that paralleled the tracks.  I wonder how many times 911 was called from there, or whether he had the railroad on speed-dial.  I don't recall any vehicle versus train incidents there.

There was one at a farm crossing a few miles farther west.  Farm tractor pilot lost an argument with a freight.

Don't quote me on this butt, A few week's back a couple 14 yere old girls were driving their dad's truck and got hit by a train going10 MPH. GIRLS CAN'T DRIVE. First of all it was of course stupid to try to evan beat the train no matter how fast it was going. Second of all what were these girls doing driving their dad's truck? For goodnes sakes, what did thay do, stop on the track's and say OH OH look at that big twain!!! Uhhhhh. SMASH!!!

The road to to success is always under construction. _____________________________________________________________________________ When the going gets tough, the tough use duct tape.
