FRA Test/Geometry Cars
Posted by anb740 on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 5:01 PM

Does anyone know how many test/geometry cars the FRA currently has in use out there? I caught DOTX 219 this afternoon; it's supposed to be self-propelled, but a CSX GEVO had to be called in for power instead....

With the "head end" power:

And the car itself:

As usual, they were running between 60-65mph testing the rails. This one looks to be a bit different than the FRA T2000 car that I've caught before.
