Big trains in Africa
Posted by Mario_v on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 1:46 PM

Hello all fellow forum colleagues ;

I was just browsing thru youtube and a local forum, and I gt to found a video of a real big train. It's from Mauretanea, where one of their main products is iron ore extracted form mines in the middle of the desert, being then ferried away by means of mile and a quarter trains, wich are hauled by what I believe to be SD40-L2s built expressely for this purpose. As teher are no means of transportartion available, as you will be able to see, locals just hop on cars and use it as if it was a public service. Hope you enjoy it

Hope you enjoy it
