I once worked for a company that has large and old presence in New Deli. One of my colleagues from that job did a great deal of travel there around that back office operation we had there. He like us is a lover of the rails and avid photographer of them. He recommended that you seek out the folks at the best known travel company that begins with the word American. The Express persons there have the best connections you can get for the money. Sounds to me like a side (make that great) adventure worth the trip.
