BNSF "Injury Free employee" plates
Posted by Daveinnj on Monday, May 26, 2008 11:16 AM

I have aquired six BNSF "Injury-Free Employee" tribute (painted dinner) plates, dated 1996-2001. Each plate is numbered and depicts a different piece of art work. These plates have certificates of authenticity and there are 4 letters (dated 1996-1999) on company letterhead with them. I was curious about what significance (if any) these plates may have.

Thanks,

Dave

  Daveinnj,

If they are china plates like the old rr dinning car china they are probabaly more valueable that those made of plastic..They may be of interest to rr china collectors..If they are plastic ones they may still be of value just not as much as china..There is a rr collectors website but the name escapes me at the moment, you might try to google railroadiana and see what you get..

If there are any train shows coming to your area check with a collector there and see if he will tell you HONESTLY what they may be worth..Also,depending on who did the art work on them, they may be of value as art work not railroadiana..

Ask and ye shall recieve ! Best wishes,

Danny
