Living in Vancouver, Canada, we mostly get Canadian Pacific, Canadian National and on the North Shore, BC Rail. Southern Rail Link (a division of Montana Rail Link) runs a branch line out into the Fraser valley, and the occasional BNSF train rolls into town (most stop short of my house by a few miles). Also, Amtrak runs the Cascades to Seattle once a day.

Here in Huntsville, Alabama, I mostly see Union Pacific, Strange thing is that it is all run through power, because UP does not have any trackage in Northern Alabama. Second to UP would have to be CSX.

Here in Salina,KS I see U.P., Kyle & K&O. On U.P.'s trains I see alot of CSX, NS, ex-Conrail, KCS, & various leased power.
With a short hop to Abilene or Newton I can see BNSF with everything from yellow & blue to Warbonnets to H1 & H2.

If you want to count the units that havn't been to the paint shop yet, we have CNW,DRGW,SP,UP,SSW,
ATSF,BNSF. I live 1/2 block from line going into
and out of the Zacha yard, so there is alot of KCS
Tex-Mex and Gateway Western. The local that you see alot of is The Dallas,Garland & Northeastern.
As far as rolling stock goes there's..WC,IC,
NYC,PRR,(both ex Conrail),NS,CSX,UP,SP,MP,CNW,DRGW,saw a washed out
faded rusty old "TheROCK" the other day with CNW
reporting marks.Plus all of the private and leased
tankers and hoppers with the ...X reporting marks.
Last but not least I almost forgot the "Texas Eagle"

Don't know how I left out all the SP, SSW, & CNW units running around here.
Saw a UP train headed up with WC power last night, a FP45 (I think thats the correct designation-full carbody, platforms on both ends, wide nose, 6 axles) & a SD45, at least it used to be. All in all pretty unusual power & roadname for these parts.

Here in Greenlawn,NY , the only units around here are the Long Island railroad communter trains and, once in a blue moon, I see a LIRR switcher pulling a 6 car frieght to the local lumber yards such as Nassau Suffolk and the burnt down Kleet.

Here in Canada I pretty much just see CP and CN (of course I see rolling stock from other roadnames on both lines). I've occaisonaly seen leased power from other roads. I've seen BNSF in BC and when I've been to the US and BC Rail in BC. But where I live, it's just CP and CN.
